The Blue Jackets traded left wing Geoff Sanderson to Vancouver on Tuesday for a 2004 third-round draft pick. Geoff was an original Blue Jacket and the team's career scoring leader. In 192 games, he scored 75 goals and 139 points.
Center Lasse Pirjeta to Pittsburgh for center Brian Holzinger, who won the 1995 Hobey Baker Award at Bowling Green.
