Say What You Will
The team is playing out the string.
The third string goalie is playing due to injuries.
Florida is in town.
Yet the Columbus faithful showed up in force.
A crowd of nearly 18,000 cheered on the Blue Jackets to a 4-1 victory. Allen York made 30 saves for the win. Say what you will, but the fans are desperate for hockey and want to support the team. It's up to management to make a team that can contend for ithe playoffs. Not a cup winner. Not even a conference winner. Just make the playoffs. Is that possible in one off-season? Very unlikely, but one can only hope.

Same result, different game
After a 4-3 loss in Vancouver a fine game summary by Rick Nash: “I think the big difference is our mistakes, Everytime we made a big mistake, they scored a goal.”
Tale of the tape
The Jackets haven't beaten the Canucks in regulation since 2009.
Columbus is a mere 43 points behind Vancouver in the standings.
